Mysteries and legends of Palma

We will accompany you through the narrow streets of the old town while we will reveal some of the legends, curiosities and mysteries hidden in the city of Palma.

We will walk in front of buildings such as the Almudaina Palacepalace, the Cathedral of Mallorca and surround the ancient walls. We will walk through the narrow streets of the medieval city where we will find some sculptures, shields and other findings from different periods. We will walk through part of the Jewish quarter and tell you the story of the xuetes of Mallorca.

In addition, you will learn the secret of a famous creature that roamed the streets of the city, an extensive list of evildoers, organized gangs, crimes, missing jewels and executions.

To take a break from all the bickering, we will stop in front of some unique buildings in the old town. We will give a glimpse of the history of modernism in Mallorca while you capture the infinite singularities of this architectural trend such as the shapes of insects, mythological creatures, floral details and diverse materials.

ITINERARY

We will start this walking tour in the Plaza Mayor of Palma, right in the center of the city and continue the visit to the market square where we will see several modernist buildings.

Then we will enter the world of legends and unsolved mysteries of Palma, visiting the City Hall, the Plaza de Santa Eulalia, the Basilica of Sant Francesc and the convent of Santa Clara. We will also visit part of one of the two Jewish quarters of Palma.

Finally we will arrive at the area of the Cathedral of Mallorca and we will say goodbye with one of the best views of the city at sunset.
