WALKING TOURS IN PALMA
Mysteries and legends of Palma
Walk with us through the streets and alleys of the Old Town of the city while we explain some of the legends, curiosities and mysteries that Palma hides.
Contemplating some spectacular buildings such as the Almudaina Palace, the Cathedral of Mallorca and the old walls, we walk through narrow medieval streets where we can find sculptures, family seals and more from a long time ago. Also during the walking tour, we visit part of the Jewish quarter and you will learn about the xuetes history.
Furthermore, you will find out the secret of the most famous beast of Palma, that wandered through the streets of our city. How a jewel was stolen and some of the most horrible executions that took place in Palma.
THE ROUTE
We will start this route on foot in the Plaza Mayor of Palma, right in the centre of the city, we continue the visit to the market square where we will see several modernist buildings.
Afterwards, we will enter the world of the legends and mysteries of Palma, visiting the City Hall, the Plaza de Santa Eulàlia, the basilica of Sant Francesc and the convent of Santa Clara. We will also visit part of one of the two Jewish neighbourhoods of Palma.
Finally, we will arrive at the Cathedral of Mallorca area, and we will say goodbye with one of the best views of the city at dusk.
