The caves of Artà offer one of the most impressive subway experiences in Mallorca, combining monumental formations, play of light and a guided tour that arouses excitement and amazement.
They are formed by innumerable stalactites of prodigious shapes and extraordinary proportions made of limestone.
The visit to the caves lasts between 35 and 40 minutes, and only one group enters each time, approximately every half hour.
Tours are organized with guides in English, French, German, Spanish and French.
Indoors, the temperature is 18º and the humidity is 80%. From the entrance you can access the lobby and from there to the Queen of ColumnsThe stalagmite is a towering 22 meter high stalagmite. Next, we headed to the Hell where a sound and light show of about 3 minutes duration is offered. From Hell to Purgatory and after visiting the Theater and the Organ we arrive at the flag room where the guide hits three columns giving each one a different tone. Finally, we visited The Elephant and heading towards the exit we pass by the stones of Diamonds, is a name name associated with its carbon-based composition and similar to gems.

Welcome to Mallorca! We propose a route through the municipality of Artà full of heritage, tradition and nature. We will visit the caves of Artá, a work of nature located on the sea coast of the municipality of Capdepera and surrounded by mountains that rise above the sea. Inside, we can observe the stalagmites rising from the ground, elegant and slender, intuiting human forms, mysterious specters, immobile, rigid, indifferent to the gaze of man and with that imposing superiority of the marvelous creations of nature.
We will approach the village of Artà, where we will visit a unique site in the area: The monastery of Sant Salvador, located on a small hill that dominates the entire environment of the village. The most outstanding elements of the complex are the walled enclosure, the sanctuary and the outbuildings of Es Donat. Its location as a strategic place throughout history means that today it is a paradise for the photography lover.
This tour of the Levante area includes an official guide + private transportation (with driver and air conditioning).
For those who wish to live the experience more calmly, we offer the possibility of enjoying a private picnic in the surroundings of the monastery of Sant Salvador, one of the most spectacular viewpoints of the Levante of Mallorca.
After the panoramic tour, we stop in a privileged natural environment to rest, contemplate the landscape and enjoy a moment of absolute tranquility, far from the most crowded tourist routes.
The picnic is an optional experience, designed for couples, families or small groups looking for a leisurely pace and a more intimate connection with the environment.

Sant Antoni is celebrated every January 16th. It is a popular, participatory and symbolic event where the whole town takes to the streets. The organization of the festival is in charge of the Obreria de Sant Antoni, formed by three people, who alternate the annual organization. The demons appear, as the primal force of the festival, accompanied by the music band as they roam around the town dancing and transmitting the festive air of mass participation in every corner of the town.
The traditional market of Artà takes place every Tuesday, except holidays. It takes place in the Plaza del Conqueridor, only in the morning, ending around 13.00. It is one of the most visited markets of the island where we find hundreds of points of sale with a great variety of products such as: fruits, vegetables, traditional artisan food of Mallorca (sobrasada, cheese, oil, etc.), Mallorcan handicrafts, ceramic products, textile articles, leather, footwear and much more.
The fair of Artà is held on the second Sunday of September, also in the morning until approximately 2.00 pm. What was once an agricultural and livestock fair, typical of Mallorca, has been changing over time. Today it offers a wide range of items, from livestock to automobiles, from household items to typical Mallorcan foodstuffs.
Visits to festivals and markets are adapted to the season and availability, while maintaining the authentic character of the experience.
We will leave Palma in the direction of the Artà caves: As soon as you park you will contemplate the views of the east coast that will surely captivate you. Once inside, a guide will accompany us during the visit to show you this miracle of nature covered with limestone rocks of extraordinary shapes and textures… that at times could immerse you in the world of Tim Burton or Guillermo del Toro.
Then we drive to the village of Artà for a panoramic visit (from the car) along the walls of the monastery of San Salvador and there we make a stop to contemplate the beautiful scenery.
