If you want to discover the most emblematic places of Palma in a leisurely, authentic way and in the company of an official guide, this private tour of the Cathedral, the Lonja and Bellver Castle will allow you to delve into the history and the most precious heritage of the city.

We will begin by exploring the majestic Lonja, former seat of the merchants’ guild and one of the masterpieces of Mallorcan Gothic architecture. Its architectural harmony, the work of the famous master Guillem Sagrera, continues to amaze visitors. From here we will walk through the gardens of S’Hort des Rei, a historic enclave linked to the old royal palaces, until we reach the exterior of the Almudaina Palace, where you will learn about the origin and function of this royal residence over the centuries.

Our route continues to the imposing Cathedral of Mallorca, also known as the Cathedral of Santa Maria or the cathedral of the sea. Inside, the spectacular rose window – the largest in the Levantine Gothic style -, the purity of its vertical lines and the interventions of Antoni Gaudí and Miquel Barceló, which give the church a unique and profoundly Mediterranean personality, await you.

We will then head to Bellver Castle, a 14th century circular fortress located at the top of a forest overlooking the city. Its terraces offer one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the bay of Palma, a perfect place to understand the historical and strategic importance of the city.
