GUIDED TOURS PALMA

EMBLEMATIC PALM

We offer you a private tour through the old town of Palma accompanied by an official guide of the Balearic Islands to explore its alleys, monuments, learn more about the local history and learn some of the most popular Mallorcan sayings of the island.

This visit offers a historical introduction with which you will discover the origins of this city: the Roman Palma , its transformation into a small Muslim medina, Madina Mayurqa and its conversion to the Christian city we know today: the Ciutat de Mallorques.

It will also be combined with religious architecture (Mallorca Cathedral, Santa Eulàlia Church, Sant Francesc Basilica) and civil architecture (stately courtyards, squares and official buildings) as well as with gastronomy, legends and curiosities of Palma.

A very good formula to discover Palma for the first time or to learn a little more about this city on the shores of the Mediterranean.

Itinerary

The visit begins in the Parc de la Mar, in front of the Tourist Information Office to enjoy one of the most spectacular images of Palma: the Cathedral reflected above the artificial lake that recreates the image of when the Mediterranean came under the walls, and then discover the most emblematic buildings and neighborhoods of the city.

Afterwards, we will head towards the Royal Palace of l’Almudaina and the Cathedral of Mallorca to contemplate its exterior architecture. The next stop will be the magnificent Mallorcan patios, stately homes that represent the power and wealth of the aristocracy of Palma.

We will cross important squares where the parish church of Santa Eulalia and the Town Hall of Palma are located, and of course the Plaza Mayor, located in the heart of the old town of Palma.

The visit ends at the municipal market of l’Olivar, where it is recommended to get lost among the shelves of food and fresh produce of the island; a magnificent mix of colors and flavors to end the visit.
