SAILING IN A LLAÜT ON THE CALM MALLORCAN WATERS

Our colleagues Fede and David, local skippers with a long history at sea, in charge of a typical Balearic boat, will share with you their passion for sailing and the tradition of our land.
They will be waiting for you at the agreed time at the Club’s sailing school, Es Caló Surf, a beachfront beach bar, to accompany you inside the Yacht Club to the Llaüt Lenteja II, a classic Balearic boat, 10 metres long and 3.7 metres wide, which stands out for its comfort and stability. On its large solarium you can lie down to sunbathe, read or enjoy the wonderful breeze that the Mediterranean Sea gives us.

Ready to enjoy your boat trip? Choose the route that best suits your needs. All activities include drinks, water, soft drinks, snorkelling and paddle surfing equipment, bluetooth system, an authentic Mallorcan aperitif and the possibility to book paella/menu (book in advance). Bon vent i bona proa!

Route around Arenal, Cala Blava and Cala Vella

We head southwards, starting with the beautiful coves and corners of the coast of Son Verí and Cala Blava until we enter the Marine Reserve of the Bay of Palma, which stands out for its abundant posidonia meadows, crystal-clear waters and abundant marine fauna.
We continue through an area of impressive cliffs of up to 150 metres and caves to Cap Blanc, the most easterly point of the Bay of Palma. An excursion that will make you disconnect from the routine and enjoy the calm (Available half day or full day).

Route through Arenal, Playa de Palma, Carnatge, Catedral and up to Illetes

Heading west we will go along Playa de Palma, a 4.6 km long sandy beach, until we reach Can Pastilla where we will find the islet of Na Galera, a Phoenician site from the 4th-2nd centuries BC. We will continue towards the city passing through Es Carnatge, declared a natural area, Ciudad Jardín, Es Molinar, Portixol, one of the locals’ favourite areas for sports and to enjoy a stroll by the sea until we reach Palma.

From the sea, we will enjoy the impressive views of the old town, where the Cathedral and the Almudaina Palace stand out, both protected by the golden Renaissance walls that contrast with the blue of the sea and surrounded by the Serra de Tramuntana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

We will continue through the Nautical Club of Palma, observing impressive yachts and sailing boats, watched over by the Bellver Castle and we will end our route by Cala Mayor, with views of the Marivent Palace, residence of the kings of Spain during their stays on the island, until we reach the corners of Illetas where you can enjoy a swim in its crystalline waters (full day route).

Sunset from the Mediterranean Sea

Enjoy a boat trip to the south, a refreshing swim after a hot day and a delicious aperitif with all the Mediterranean flavour, watching the sunset from the sea hiding in the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana, on the other side of the bay. A play of shapes and colours, a unique and unforgettable experience.
